1988
Founding of Industrias Metálicas del NorteThe story began with the founding of Industrias Metálicas del Norte. Initially, the work focused on creating seeders and cultivators; however, the challenges of the agricultural sector sowed the seeds of a more ambitious vision: the manufacturing of heavy-duty trailers.
2003
Founding of Grupo Remolques del NorteThrough the strategic union of Industrias Agrícolas Dyck, Industrias Agrícolas Olfert, and Remolques y Maquinaria El Gordo, the operational structure known today as Grupo Remolques del Norte was formally established.
2007
Founding of GR TrailersWith the launch of the GR Trailers brand, the Group extended its reach into the United States and Canada. This expansion not only consolidated an international distribution network but also positioned regional manufacturing as a benchmark for quality and compliance with global standards.
2009
Acquisition of Banens TrailersThe Group reinforced its presence in the sector through the acquisition of the Banens brand, integrating its expertise and product lines to consolidate a more robust and competitive offering.
2019
Acquisition of Wiebe TrailersWith a focus on dominating new niches in the metalworking market, the acquisition of Wiebe Trailers was completed, adding its technological capacity to the Group's infrastructure.
2022
Solis Yanmar and Lonking AllianceThe organization established strategic alliances with global giants such as Solis Yanmar and Lonking. These collaborations drove technological and commercial growth, diversifying the offering toward heavy machinery.
2024
Founding of GRN AgroindustrialReaffirming its commitment to the primary sector, the Group founded GRN Agroindustrial, a division dedicated exclusively to advanced solutions for the modern agro-industry.

HSG Laser AllianceThe alliance with HSG Laser was formalized along with the registration of the HSG Laser México brand. This integration positions the organization at the forefront of laser cutting technology and high-precision manufacturing processes.
